Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Tremendous 1889 N172 Old Judge rookie card of Hall of Famer Billy Hamilton (Pose #210-2). Hamilton is ranked as the eighth rarest out of all 28 Hall of Famers appearing in the set according to Jay Miller, Joe Gonsowski, and Richard Masson, authors of The Photographic Baseball Cards of Goodwin & Company (1886-1890), the definitive book on Old Judges. The offered card has superb image clarity, light corner wear, and a slight diamond cut along the bottom edge. The blank reverse has a very light stain on the bottom portion.
