Lot # 2745: 1973 Muhammad Ali vs. Rudi Lubbers Boxing Ticket Stub - PSA - 1 of 4!

Exceedingly rare ticket stub issued for the heavyweight fight between Muhammad Ali and Rudi Lubbers in Jakarta, Indonesia, on October 20, 1973. Encapsulated as "Authentic" by PSA. This is one of only four stubs for this fight evaluated by PSA. Ali defeated Lubbers by unanimous decision over 12 rounds. The ticket stub (2-3/4 x 5-1/8 inches) resembles a piece of foreign currency more than a ticket and features portraits of the two fighters on the front. It has a number of light creases along with cancellation marks and paper loss/excess paper on the reverse. It remains a very presentable and extremely rare collectible from this 1973 bout.
