Presented is a rarely-offered near-complete set (23 out of 24) of R47 "Fighting Planes," missing only #20 for completion. This set was issued in the early 1930s by the Shelby Gum Company. The cards feature beautiful illustrations of American warplanes. The backs have a brief description of the illustrated airplane. Condition is Vg to Vg-Ex overall, with two higher and three lower. Total: 23 cards.
