Description

Scarce complete set of R6 "African Animal Jig" consisting of twenty-four cards issued by the National Licorice Company. Also includes an original wrapper (Gd). Each card features a color illustration of an animal on the front along with information about the animal and company advertising on the reverse. The reverse details how all twenty-four cards in the set can be assembled into a large, 9.5 x 17.25-inch, African jungle scene. The condition of the set is 29% Vg-Ex to Ex (including a few Ex-Mt), 38% Gd to Vg, and 33% Pr to Fr. National Licorice "African Animal Jig" cards are rarely offered as a complete set. Total: 25 items (24 cards plus wrapper). The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
