Complete, original unopened wax box of 1971 Topps baseball. The box houses 24 packs with each pack containing 10 cards for a total of 240 cards. This is a third-series box (#264-393), a series that is highlighted by Hall of Famers Joe Morgan, Fergie Jenkins, Brooks Robinson, Don Sutton, Rollie Fingers and Ted Williams, along with the rookie cards of star players George Foster and Steve Garvey. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is the possibility that within this box are Mint or Gem Mint cards. The box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). The display box has survived with bold colors and moderate shelf wear visible, including a bit of creasing on the bottom panel. This is an extremely rare unopened wax box that would make a superb addition to any baseball or unopened wax-box collection.
