Riddell New York Jets pro-style helmet signed in black Sharpie by the following twenty-five members of the 1969 World Champion New York Jets: Joe Namath, Don Maynard, Bill Mathis, Emerson Boozer, Bake Turner, Curley Johnson, Ralph Baker, Matt Snell, Dave Herman, Al Atkinson, Bill Baird, Jim Hudson, Randy Beverly, John Schmitt, Jim Turner, Larry Grantham, Carl McAdams, Bob Talamini, John Elliott, Paul Rochester, Pete Lammons, Randy Rasmussen, Cornell Gordon, Winston Hill, and Gerry Philbin. All of the players, with the exception of Namath, have added their respective uniform numbers next to their names. All of the signatures have been boldly scripted. On the strength of Joe Namath's guarantee, the New York Jets shocked the sports world by upsetting the heavily favored Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III to capture the club's first and only World Championship.
