Description

Rarely offered example of Jackie Robinson and Roy Campanella from the 1952 Star-Decals (Type 2) series. Issued by the Meyercord Co. of Chicago in 1952, the Type 2 set is similar in design to the Type 1 but slightly smaller (4-1/8 x 3-1/16 inches), and consists of thirty-two decals, with each sheet featuring two players instead of one. The decal is bright and clean. The original packaging envelope exhibits minimal edge and corner wear with a few small wrinkles visible.
