Modestly graded example of Brooklyn Dodgers Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson from the legendary 1952 Topps issue. In addition to being one of the key cards to this classic set and one of the most famous of all postwar cards, Robinson's 1952 Topps card is part of the rare high-number series (although his card was double-printed and is slightly more available than others from the same series). This example has a bold red background, outstanding registration, and moderate corner wear. Graded POOR 1 by SGC, the card has flaws including heavy creasing and surface wear. Frequently overshadowed by the #311 Mantle from the same set (also a high-number series card and also double-printed), #312 Robinson is one of the few cards that defines the 1952 Topps set for collectors. Robinson is also one of the few Hall of Famers found in the high-number series. This is a very presentable example.
