Description

Presented is an extremely rare 1972 Topps Baseball unopened triple wax-pack grocery tray, one of the most elusive treasures of all 1970s Topps unopened-pack collecting. This is the first example we have ever offered! The 1972 Topps set is full of many stars and Hall of Famers, including Carlton Fisk (rookie), Nolan Ryan, Pete Rose, Hank Aaron, and Willie Mays among others. While there are no guarantees with reference to grading unopened material, it is possible that ultra-high-grade examples could be inside. This tray comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (Steve Hart), the foremost expert on unopened material. The tray displays extremely well overall, with tight seals and two small tears (upper and lower-left corners; only visible from the reverse). This tray would make an excellent addition to any pack collection or companion to any complete 1972 Topps baseball set.
