Lot # 1393: 1956 Topps Near-Complete Set (333/340) Plus Two Checklists

Presented is an outstanding mid- to high-grade near-complete set of 1956 Topps consisting of 333 different cards (out of 340 in the set), highlighted by numerous stars and key cards, including Jackie Robinson, Hank Aaron, Yogi Berra, and Ernie Banks. Missing the following seven cards for completion: #5 Williams, 33 Clemente, 79 Koufax, 107 Mathews, 120 Ashburn, 130 Mays, and 135 Mantle. Included are both checklists, eight team card variations, and three duplicates (#164 Killebrew, 197, and 254). Also included are 72 significant gray backs (#1-100). Condition is 6% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt, 32% Ex to Ex-Mt, 58% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 4% lesser. We have selected five cards for grading and encapsulation by SGC.
