Original news photo of Pelé as a member of the Brazilian soccer team during the 1970 World Cup semi-final. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. Pelé is captured celebrating with teammate Clodoaldo after the latter had just scored the equalizing goal against Uruguay just before halftime. Brazil would go on to win the game 3-1 and defeat Italy 4-1 in the final. Today, the 1970 Brazilian squad is often cited as one of the greatest international teams of all time. The reverse displays the original "United Press International" paper news caption, editorial notations, a "United Press International" credit stamp, and a few additional filing stamps. The photo (8 x 10 inches) is in Excellent condition overall.
