In addition to being one of his most striking and popular cards, this card dates from one of Mantle's MVP years and follows his finest season (1956 Triple Crown statistics: 52 home runs, 130 RBI, .353 batting average). Getting this card in a pack in 1957 was as good as it got. The offered card has vibrant colors, superb image quality, strong corners, and bright white borders. Clean, boldly printed reverse.
