Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. Very attractive example of St. Louis Brown Hall of Famer Charles Comiskey, the key card from the classic 1887 Brownie Champs set, which features portraits of the stars from this legendary championship team. Comiskey is the only Hall of Famer in this highly sought-after Old Judge subset. The offered example displays a bold image, tremendous contrast, and even corner wear. A few wrinkles on the front and soiling on the reverse contribute to the assigned grade. Any Old Judge, even a common, with such tremendous photo quality is a prize, let alone a portrait of a Hall of Famer. The Brownie Champs set has always been among the most distinctive and popular of all Old Judges, and Comiskey is unquestionably the key card in the series.
