Lot # 1160: 1952 Bowman Partial Set (179/252) Including Campanella, Spahn, and Snider

Presented is a very attractive partial set of 1952 Bowman baseball consisting of 179 different cards (out of 252 in a complete set) plus five duplicates (#33, two 53 Ashburn, 73, and 145 Mize). Highlighted by 23 Hall of Famers, including Yogi Berra, Bob Feller, Roy Campanella, Duke Snider, and Minnie Minoso (rookie). Condition is 26% Nr/Mt (including a few Nr/Mt-Mt), 58% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 16% Vg to Vg-Ex (including a couple lesser, a couple that measure a bit small, and one miscut). We have selected four cards for grading and encapsulation by SGC. Missing the following 73 cards for completion: #101 Mantle and 181-252 (including 196 Musial, 217 Stengel, 218 Mays, 232 Slaughter, and 252 Crosetti).
