Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Mid-grade example of this high-demand card of Cleveland Indians Hall of Famer Leroy "Satchel" Paige from the 1949 Bowman series. This rare high-number card has always been one of the key cards of both the set and the era. This example has brilliant colors, excellent registration, and honest corner wear. Boldly printed reverse. One of the key classics of all postwar baseball-card issues, this is a strong mid-grade example of one of only a handful of cards issued of Satchel Paige during his playing days.
