Description

Graded NM 7 by PSA. High-grade example of one of postwar collecting's most popular rookie cards featuring Hall of Famer Duke Snider of the Brooklyn Dodgers. This card has bright colors, a crisp image, and light corner wear. Clean reverse. 1949 Bowmans in general are rarely found in such high grade, primarily because they so often have naturally soft corners due to the paper stock on which they are printed. This is a high-grade example of Duke Snider’s first gum card and one of the key rare high-number cards of the classic 1949 Bowman set.
