Graded NM/MT 8 by SGC. Outstanding example of Detroit Red Wings Hall of Famer Gordie Howe from the landmark 1954-1955 Topps hockey series, the first hockey set issued by Topps. The flush-to-the-bottom-border design of the 1954-1955 Topps hockey set makes this issue particularly susceptible to edge and corner wear so finding high-grade examples is extremely difficult. This example boasts brilliant colors, a crisp image, strong corners, and a clean reverse. This is a tremendous high-grade example of one of Gordie Howe's most classic cards from this extremely popular hockey card set.
