Description

Presented is a single album page from the 1889 Goodwin "Round Album" featuring Hall of Famer Cap Anson. This is one of the most striking and desirable pages in the set! The reverse has Anson's statistics for the 1888 season and league schedules for the 1889 season. The page has bold colors but ultimately grades modestly. Graded FAIR 1.5 by PSA (one of just six examples in total evaluated by PSA), the piece has a couple of light creases near the edges and a tiny chip on the bottom edge. The reverse is lightly toned with a couple of small spots of paper loss. Despite these flaws, this is a very attractive example featuring the key Hall of Famer to the set. Diameter: 8.25 inches.
