Substantial collection of 455 cards from eight popular 1950s Topps sets and the 1968 Topps Game insert series. This collection is highlighted by 40 Hall of Famers, including Ted Williams, Warren Spahn, Willie Mays, and Frank Robinson (rookie). We have selected two cards for grading and encapsulation by SGC. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1951 Topps Red Backs (21 cards): Condition is 52% Gd to Vg (mostly Gd) and 48% Pr to Fr. Includes: #2, two 3, two 6 Reynolds (both Fr), 7, 14, 16 Roe, 28, 29, 32, 33, 37, 43, two 44, 46, 47, 48, 49, and 52b Holmes/Hartford (Vg+). 2) 1951 Topps Blue Backs (4 cards): #7 (Vg), 25 (Vg-Ex), 30 Slaughter (Pr), and 36 (Vg). 3) 1953 Topps (138 cards, 94 different): Condition is 14% Vg-Ex to Ex, 62% Gd to Vg, and 24% Pr to Fr. Includes only one card from the high-number series (#221-280). Keys: #81 Black SP (Vg+), 119 Sain SP (Vg), and 250 (Gd). 4) 1954 Topps (121 cards, 97 different): Condition is 10% Ex, 80% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 10% lesser. Keys: #25 Kuenn RC (Vg), 137 Moon RC (Ex), 139 O'Brien Brothers (Vg), and 183 Combs (Vg-Ex). 5) 1956 Topps (4 cards): #210 (Ex), 233 Erskine (Gd), 235 Newcombe (Nr/Mt+), and 332 Larsen (Gd). 6) 1957 Topps (45 cards, 38 different): Condition ranges from Vg to Ex (averaging Vg-Ex), with a couple Ex-Mt and five lesser. Includes: #1, two 3 Yastrzemski (Nr/Mt and Vg+), two 4 Aaron (both Ex-Mt), four 5 Killebrew (two Ex-Mt and two Vg), 7 F. Robinson (Vg-Ex), two 8 Mays (Ex+ and Gd+), two 9 B.
