Graded VG 3 by PSA. Very attractive mid-grade example of this early 1950s issue featuring New York Yankees Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle. This card is very similar in appearance to his rookie card, the 1951 Bowman #253. Mantle is the key card in the 1952 Berk Ross set. This example has beautiful colors, a crisp image, and light corner wear. Clean reverse with bold black text. This is a high-quality example of one of the earliest and most overlooked of all Mantle cards. In addition to dating from his rookie era and having a very similar appearance to his 1951 Bowman card, the 1952 Berk Ross Mantle is without question significantly rarer than its 1951 Bowman counterpart.
