Description

Graded VG 3 by PSA (submitted by REA). This is the ONLY example graded at this level by PSA with none higher! Rarely offered example of New York Giants Hall of Famer Willie Mays from the 1952 Star-Decals (Type 1) series. The decal has been removed from its original packaging envelope as issued. Produced by the Meyercord Co. of Chicago in 1952, the Type 1 Star-Cal set consists of 70 different major leaguers each pictured on a large decal (4-1/8 x 6-1/8 inches) with a facsimile autograph below his image. The decal is bright and crisp with light creasing.
