Tremendous collection of eighteen different cards (out of 50 in the set) from the extremely desirable N3 "Arms of All Nations" series issued by Allen & Ginter in 1887, each graded and encapsulated by PSA. This colorful set features men from all around the world holding various weapons. The cards each measure approximately 1-1/2 x 2-3/4 inches, and a checklist for the entire set appears on the reverse. PSA Grading Composite: EX 5 (9 cards): Arquebus, Chinese Short Sword, Gladiator's Sword, Knight's Lance, Malay Creese (MC), Navaja Knife, Nubian Sword, Tomahawk, and Tooth Sword. VG-EX 4 (8 cards): Blunderbuss, Cimeter, Falchion, Harpoon, Javelin, Mace, Poniard, and Two-Handed Sword. VG+ 3.5 (1 card): Revolver. Allen & Ginter's "Arms of All Nations" are rarely offered as a sizeable group and are highly prized by nineteenth-century nonsport tobacco-card collectors. Total: 18 cards. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
