Collection of 40 single-signed baseballs consisting exclusively of former Brooklyn and/or Los Angeles Dodgers players. Unless otherwise noted, all the signatures appear on the sweet spot of an official National League baseball dating from the 1980s or later. The signatures have been scripted in a variety of inks. Most of the balls have varying degrees of age toning. Otherwise all are in Excellent to Mint or better condition overall. This collection features a wide variety of players spanning the 1940s to the 1990s. It is highlighted by numerous Hall of Famers and superstars. This collection consists of the following (if more than one, quantities are noted in parentheses): Hall of Famers (4): Herman, Koufax, Reese, and Snider. Non-Hall of Famers (36): Abrams (side panel), Branca, R. Barney (x2, both with inscriptions), Black (Rookie of the Year - 1952), B. Buckner (x2), Camilli, C. Connors, Erskine (x2, one side panel), Furillo, Garvey (x2, one with Best Wishes - MVP 74), K. Gibson, Gionfriddo, Hassett, F. Wills (x2, one with 104 Steals). Total: 40 signed baseballs. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
