Collection of 39 single-signed baseballs consisting exclusively of former Boston Red Sox players. Unless otherwise noted, all the signatures appear on the sweet spot of an official American or National League baseball dating from the 1980s or later. The signatures have been scripted in a variety of inks. Most of the balls have varying degrees of age toning. Otherwise all are in Excellent to Mint or better condition overall. This collection features a wide variety of players spanning the 1950s to the 1990s. It is highlighted by numerous Hall of Famers and superstars. This collection consists of the following (if more than one, quantities are noted in parentheses): Hall of Famers (8): Aparicio, Boudreau, Doerr, Kell, Marichal (H.O.F. 1983), J. Rice, T. Williams, and Yastrzemski. Non-Hall of Famers (31): Buckner (x2, one with 1980 batting title .324), Cooper (x2), Dropo (x2, both with July 15, 1952), B. Goodman, Lonborg (x3, all with Cy Young '67), S. Lyle (Cy Young 1977), F. Lynn (x7, three with '75 MVP & ROY), Oglivie (x2, one with 41 Home Runs 1980), Piersall, Saberhagen, G. Scott, B.
