Lot # 341: 1909-1911 T206 White Border Sherry Magie Error - SGC GOOD+ 2.5 (MBA Silver Diamond)

Graded GOOD+ 2.5 by SGC. A very presentable mid-grade example of the famous T206 Magie error card. Magie is one of the rarest T206 cards and, along with Plank, Wagner, and the rare Doyle, is usually one of the last cards required by collectors to complete the set. The Magie error card has been recognized as one of card collecting's great rarities since the days of Jefferson Burdick. (In fact, Burdick singled out the Magie as one of the significant T206 rarities in the original American Card Catalog.) The offered card has vibrant colors, a crisp image, honest corner wear, and a small area of surface wear at the top. Boldly printed Piedmont 150 advertising reverse. This is an extremely pleasing example of one of card collecting's most significant rarities. Awarded an MBA Silver Diamond by Mike Baker Authenticated for high-end eye appeal.
