1939 Baseball Hall of Fame first-day cover signed in black fountain pen by "Larry Lajoie." Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, with the signature certified as "Authentic." The envelope bears a "Jun 12, 1939, Cooperstown N.Y." postmark and a three-cent Baseball Centennial stamp. Lajoie was one of the eleven living players inducted into the Hall of Fame at the 1939 dedication ceremonies, but this particular envelope was most likely signed at a later date, as the date "2-1-41" is noted next to Lajoie's signature. The envelope (6-1/2 x 3-5/8 inches) displays scattered creases and light toning. In Very Good condition.
