Pair of 1970 and 1971 Fleer World Series near-complete sets. The cards in both sets display considerable size variance, with many falling markedly short of the 2.5 x 3.5 inches catalog standard. The following condition composites are graded without reference to card size. 1) 1970 Fleer World Series Near-Complete Set (65/66): Condition ranges from Gd to Ex (averaging Vg), with a few lesser. Missing only #38 for completion. 2) 1971 Fleer World Series Near-Complete Set (66/68): Condition ranges from Gd to Ex (averaging Vg), with a couple better and approximately 10% lesser. Missing only #8 and 42 for completion. Also included is a 1971 "1943 World Series" example with an MLB logo and copyright on the reverse (Vg). Total: 132 cards.
