Presented is a near-complete set of 1977 Topps consisting of 659 different cards (out of 660 in the set), missing only #473 Dawson for completion. The rookie cards of Bruce Sutter and Dale Murphy highlight the 1977 Topps issue, one of the very popular sets of the 1970s. Condition is 30% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt, 44% Ex to Ex-Mt (due mostly to centering), and 26% Vg to Vg-Ex (due mostly to centering and including some with 100/0 centering). Keys: #140 Schmidt (Nr/Mt), 144 Sutter RC (80/20 T/B, otherwise Nr/Mt), 265 Fidrych RC (Vg-Ex due to light "spider" wrinkles), 450 Rose (Nr/Mt-Mt), 476 Murphy RC (Nr/Mt-Mt), 580 Brett (Nr/Mt-Mt), and 650 Ryan (20/80 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt+). This is a very attractive mid- to high-grade near-complete set (minus one) loaded with Hall of Famers and stars from the 1970s. Total: 659 cards.
