Presented is a 60-card uncut proof sheet from the 1977 Hostess baseball series. The uncut sheet (35.5 x 25.25 inches) is arranged in six rows of ten cards. The back of the sheet is fully printed. These sheets were used by the printer for the purpose of checking colors, registration, and generally proofing the cards before final production began. The sheet includes the following Hall of Famers and stars: Bench, Brett, Brock, Carew, Carter, Garvey, Griffey, R. Jackson, Kingman, Morgan, Munson, Murcer, Palmer, Rice, Rose, Schmidt, Seaver, Stargell, Winfield, Yastrzemski, and Yount. Bright and crisp with minor wear on the corners and edges and several light creases. There is tape residue along the top edge of the reverse. This sheet would make an outstanding companion piece to a 1977 Hostess baseball set or serve as an extraordinary addition to a high-quality baseball or uncut-sheet collection.
