Presented is an exceptional high-grade partial set of 1980-1981 Topps basketball consisting of 131 different cards, out of 176 in the set. This partial set is highlighted by the three-player rookie card of Hall of Famers Larry Bird and Magic Johnson alongside Julius Erving. This card is one of the most important of all basketball cards ever produced as it features three players named to the "50 Greatest Players in NBA History" list, two of whom appear for the first time ever on a Topps card. The 1980-1981 Topps Basketball set is designed in trifold style so that each card features three individual player sections. Condition is 56% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt, 36% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 8% Vg to Vg-Ex. Keys: #6 Bird/Johnson RC (Ex-Mt+ due to centering), 49 Bird Rebounding Ldr (Nr/Mt), and 165 Bird Rebounding Ldr (Nr/Mt).
