Presented is a partial set of 128 of the 168 different 1929 Zeenut cards featuring Pacific Coast League players, highlighted by Ernie Nevers and Hall of Famer Lefty Gomez (rookie card). The 1929 Zeenut set is comprised of players from eight different teams (Hollywood, Los Angeles, Mission, Oakland, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Seattle). A large grouping such as this is very rarely seen. Condition is 25% Gd to Vg and 75% Pr to Fr (including some that are heavily worn). As is usually the case with Zeenuts, the coupon at the bottom of each card has been clipped away, as intended, to be redeemed for valuable prizes. Keys: Gomez RC (Pr with clipped corner) and Nevers (Vg).
