Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Stunning ultra high-grade example of Philadelphia Phillies Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt's three-player rookie card from the 1973 O-Pee-Chee set. O-Pee-Chee baseball cards were issued regionally only in Canada and are much rarer than their American counterparts. The card caption "1973 Rookie Third Basemen" is printed in both French and English on the front and back of the card. Schmidt is pictured alongside Ron Cey (Los Angeles Dodgers) and John Hilton (San Diego Padres) on this card, one of the true classics of the 1970s. The offered card has four strong corners, bold colors, outstanding print quality, and impressive centering. Very slight rough cut, a natural characteristic of O-Pee-Chee cards from this era, visible on multiple edges. Bright, clean, and boldly printed reverse.
