Lot # 373: 1909-1911 T206 White Border Bill O'Hara St. Louis Variation SGC GOOD 30 - Polar Bear Back

Graded GOOD 30 by SGC. Appealing example of the rare T206 Bill O'Hara card, St. Louis Browns variation. Polar Bear was the only company to issue this variation, no doubt contributing to its significant rarity. T206 cards issued with Polar Bear tobacco were not well protected from the accompanying product, thus most O'Haras have significant condition problems, including at least some tobacco staining. This example displays bold colors, moderate corner wear, excellent centering, and a slight diamond cut. Heavy tobacco staining is visible on the front and Polar Bear reverse. A few unobtrusive creases contribute to the assigned grade.
