Lot # 682: 1920s to 1930s Zeenut PCL Collection (309) Including Two Partial Sets

Presented is a very sizable collection of 309 cards from six different Zeenut PCL issues spanning the years 1923 to 1932 and highlighted by Lefty O'Doul and Hall of Famers Harry Hooper and Earl Averill (two different). The condition of the collection is 14% Gd to Vg (including eight Vg-Ex) and 86% Pr to Fr (including six with trimmed corners). This collection consists of the following: 1) 1923 (3 cards, all different). 2) 1926 (13 cards, all different). 3) 1927 Partial Set (84/145): Keys: Averill (trimmed corners and wax on the surfaces, otherwise Pr, HOF), Hooper (Pr, HOF), and O'Doul (Pr). 4) 1928 Partial Set (115/168): Key: Averill (SGC POOR 1). 5) 1931 (77 cards, 57 different): Key: Crosetti (trimmed around corners, otherwise Pr). 6) 1932 (17 cards, 16 different). Included are an additional 25 commons that are in such Poor condition that we did not include them in the preceding counts. As is usually the case with Zeenuts, the coupon at the bottom of each card has been clipped away, as intended, to be redeemed for valuable prizes. This is an impressive lower-grade sampling of cards from various Zeenut PCL sets. Total: 309 cards.
