Presented is a partial set of 129 of the 186 different 1930 Zeenut cards featuring Pacific Coast League players, highlighted by key cards of Ernie Nevers and Frank Crosetti. The 1930 Zeenut set is comprised of players from eight different teams (Hollywood, Los Angeles, Mission, Oakland, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Seattle). A partial set such as this is extremely rare. Condition is 31% Gd to Vg (with a few slightly better) and 69% Pr to Fr (including several that are heavily worn). As is usually the case with Zeenuts, the coupon at the bottom of each card has been clipped away, as intended, to be redeemed for valuable prizes. Keys: Crosetti (Pr), Nevers (Pr), and Ryan (Gd, unauthenticated signature on back). Missing the following 57 cards for completion: Allington, Andrews, Anton, Arlett, Baecht, Beck, Bowman, Brubaker, Chamberlain, Craghead, Cronin, Daglia, Dean, DeViveiros, Dittmar, Donovan, Dumovich, Edwards, French, Governor, Griffin, Heath, Hillis, Horn, Hufft, Hurst, E. Jacobs, J. Jacobs, Jeffcoat, Joiner, Kasich, Knight, Koehler, Lombardi, Martin, Mellana, Miljus/S on uniform, Palmisano, Pearson, Porter, Pasedel, Read, Ricci, Rosenberg, Schino, Sigafoos, Stevenson, H. Taylor, Trembly, Uhalt, Vergez, Wallgren, Walsh, Warren, Wingo, Wirts, and Zamlack. This 1930 Zeenut partial set is part of a comprehensive Zeenut collection that has been broken down by year into a number of smaller but still very substantial lots. Total: 129 cards.
