Collection of thirty-six (thirty-four different) 1950-1956 Callahan Hall of Fame cards. Issued annually from 1950 to 1956, the Callahan Hall of Fame card set was the official set of the Hall of Fame. It was updated each year until 1956 with the inductees from that year as well as some corrections and updates. Condition ranges from Vg to Ex-Mt (averaging Vg-Ex/Ex), with four altered by erasure marks. This collection consists of the following: Anson, Bresnahan, Brown, Brouthers, two Bulkeley, Cartwright, Chadwick, Chesbro, Clarke, J. Collins, Comiskey, two Cummings, Delehanty, Ewing, Gehrig (Vg-Ex+). Gehringer, Jennings, Ban Johnson, Keeler, Kelly, Landis, Mathewson (Nr/Mt), McCarthy, McGinnity, Nichols, O'Rourke, Plank, Robinson, Ruth (partially erased mark on front, otherwise Ex), Spalding, Tinker, Waddell, Wright, and Baseball Hall of Fame (exterior view, ends "days are concluded.", Vg).
