Lot # 1162: 1954 Bowman Near-Complete Set (221/224) Including Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays

This is a very attractive mid-grade near-complete set of one of the most overlooked (and compared to many other sets, most reasonably valued) classic bubble-gum card issues from the golden age of the 1950s. Missing #66 Piersall, 161 Berra, and 196 Lemon for completion (also no #66 Williams). Condition is 33% Vg-Ex to Ex, 57% Gd to Vg, and 10% lesser (including a couple that measure a bit small, two trimmed, and one altered). We have selected two cards for grading and encapsulation by SGC.
