Presented is a sizable collection of 148 cards (139 different) from the T206 White Border series, representing more than 26% of a complete set. All of the reverses have advertisements for Piedmont Cigarettes except for two Old Mills. Condition is 29% Vg-Ex to Ex, 43% Gd to Vg, and 28% Pr to Fr (including a few that measure a bit small). Keys: Two Birmingham (Vg-Ex and Gd), Chance/portrait, yellow background (SGC declined to encapsulate due to split along crease, otherwise Pr), Krause/portrait (Vg-Ex, Old Mill), Powell (Vg-Ex), Schulte (Vg-Ex+), and Thomas (Pr, Old Mill). This mixed-grade T206 collection is a very substantial group, representing an excellent start to an attractive medium- to lower-grade complete set of T206, the most popular and classic set of the era.
