Presented is a very attractive mid- to high-grade near-complete set (540 out of 598) of 1962 Topps. The 1962 Topps set is notorious for condition problems. The flush-to-the-border brown wood-grain design of this issue makes them very susceptible to corner and edge wear. This particular set also includes seven significant variations (#129, 134, 139, 147, 174, 176, and 190) and 35 green-tint variations (#111, 114, 117, 119, 121, 122, 124, 125, 126, 149, 151, 152, 155, 156, 161, 162, 164, 166, 168, 169, 171, 173, 178, 179, 181, 183, 184, 185, 186, 187, 188, 189, 191, 193, and 195) for a total of 582 cards. Condition is 26% Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt, 59% Vg-Ex to Ex, and 15% Gd to Vg (including 2% lesser, a few that measure small, and a few with a slight miscut).
