The 1962 Topps set has a well-deserved reputation for being the era's most condition-sensitive issue. The flush-to-the-border brown wood-grain design of the 1962 Topps set makes this issue particularly susceptible to edge and corner wear and makes the assembly of high-grade sets all the more difficult. This is a very attractive mid- to high-grade complete set of this classic set, which includes all the great stars of the era. Includes five significant variations (#129, two 139, 176, and 190). Condition is 13% Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt, 63% Vg-Ex to Ex, and 24% Gd to Vg (including 4% lesser due to tape remnants on the reverse). We have selected four cards for grading and encapsulation by PSA.
