Presented is a trio of complete and near-complete 1969, 1970, and 1971 Sunbream Bread Seattle SuperSonics basketball sets. Includes a signed example of 1971-1972 Don Kojis. These cards were originally distributed with a bread bag clip directly glued to the card, leaving paper loss of glue residue if the clip was removed. Thirteen of the cards in this collection are in the ideal clip-attached form. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1969-1970 Near-Complete Set (10/11): Includes one card with tab. Without further reference to back damage caused by missing clips, condition ranges from Fr to Vg. Key: Wilkens (with tab, Vg-Ex, HOF). Missing only Meschery for completion. 2) 1970-1971 Complete Set (11): All eleven cards have tabs. Condition ranges from Gd to Ex (averaging Vg). Key: Wilkens (Vg, HOF). 3) 1971-1972 Near-Complete Set (10/11): Includes one card with tab. Without further reference to back damage caused by missing clips, condition ranges from Fr to Vg-Ex. Keys: Haywood (HOF), Kojis (signed), Snyder (with tab, Ex+), and Wilkens (HOF). Missing only Sonics Coliseum for completion. An impressive collection of this rarely seen and condition-sensitive regional basketball issue. Total: 31 cards. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA (for the one signed card).
