Presented is a complete 42-card set of 1970 Topps Super highlighted by many Hall of Famers and stars including Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, and Roberto Clemente. Condition of the set is 45% Nr/Mt-Mt, 31% Nr/Mt, and 24% Ex to Ex-Mt (including a couple slightly lesser and one that measures small). Nine cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by SGC. Keys: #4 Killebrew (NM/MT+ 92), 7 (NM/MT 88), 8 Bench (Nr/Mt), 9 (NM/MT 88), 12 Clemente (Nr/Mt-Mt), 18 Mays (Nr/Mt-Mt), 24 Aaron (Ex), 27 (NM/MT 88), 28 Jackson (NM/MT 88), 30 (NM/MT 88), 34 Rose (Nr/Mt+), 35 (NM/MT 88), 37 F. Robinson SP (NM/MT 88), and 38 Powell SP (NM/MT 88). Because of their scarcity relative to other Topps sets of the era, it is a little surprising that this issue has not received more attention from collectors. This is primarily because, for many years, grading companies did not have holders for this large-format issue. This is no longer the case, and collectors can now build sets of these cards in graded form just like they've done for many years with standard-sized cards.
