Description

Graded VG 3 by SGC. Extremely desirable real-photo postcard issued in commemoration of Jim Thorpe's accomplishments at the 1912 Olympic Games. The photo features Thorpe in his track uniform standing on the steps during the 1912 Summer Olympics held in Stockholm, Sweden. The text on the reverse is printed in Swedish. The postcard (5.5 x 3.5 inches), which has not been addressed or mailed, displays a crystal-clear image, moderate corner wear, and scattered foxing on the reverse.
