Description

Pair of limited-edition "Star Wars" lithographs by artists Tim and Greg Hildebrandt. These lithographs are of cards #29 Vader Destroys the Rebel Base and #83 Millennium Falcon from the 1996 "Star Wars" Shadows of the Empire trading card series. Each lithograph is signed by the artist in pencil in the lower margin and is accompanied by a remarque. The Vader piece is hand-numbered "234/250" while the Millennium Falcon piece is hand-numbered "183/250." Tim and Greg Hildebrandt were acclaimed fantasy and science fiction artists who, in addition to providing the art for this set, are best remembered for creating the iconic "style B" poster for the first movie of the Star Wars franchise. The lithographs (17 x 23 inches; visible dimensions) are both in apparent Near Mint condition overall. Mated and framed to total dimensions of 24 x 30 inches. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
