Presented is an astounding, complete, unopened cello box of 1960 Topps baseball containing 36 original unopened 10-cent cello packs from four different series, including 16 packs from the desirable Mickey Mantle 4th Series. Also featured are eight packs from Series 2 (including one with #160 Mantle/Boyer showing on back and one with #136 Jim Kaat's rookie showing on back), four Series 3, and eight Series 6. Each cello pack houses 12 cards, for a total of 432 cards. This is an exceptional complete unopened cello box! The 1960 Topps set is very popular among collectors and Series 4 (where 16 packs in this box are from) features many stars of the era, including Mickey Mantle and Willie McCovey's rookie card. The display box has survived in outstanding condition, with bright colors and light shelf wear, including a few creases on the back panel. The box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material) and the various series are noted on the label. This tremendous high-grade unopened cello box, which looks as it did when it sat on a candy store shelf in 1960, would make an incredible addition to even the most advanced baseball or unopened box collection.
