Description

Complete, original unopened wax box of 1967 Topps baseball. The box houses 24 packs with each pack containing five cards for a total of 120 cards. This is a particularly rare unopened box! This is the first complete unopened 1967 Topps wax box that we have ever offered, and the first complete wax box from this year that we can recall ever appearing at public auction. The 1967 Topps set features rookie cards of Hall of Famers Tom Seaver and Rod Carew, as well as numerous other stars and Hall of Famers, including Mickey Mantle, Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Pete Rose, and Roberto Clemente. The box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). The display box has survived with bold colors and moderate shelf wear visible, including erased writing on the top lid. This is an extremely rare unopened wax box that would make a superb addition to any baseball or unopened wax-box collection.
