Trio of scarce ticket stubs issued for the Brooklyn Dodgers home games that were played at Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City, New Jersey, during both the 1956 and 1957 seasons. In an attempt to put pressure on the city of Brooklyn to build the Dodgers a new stadium, team owner Walter O'Malley had the Dodgers play 15 home games across the river in New Jersey. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1956. May 16 vs. Cardinals (Duke Snider two hits and Gil Hodges RBI). Pr. 2) 1956. July 25 vs. Reds (Frank Robinson home run and Snider home run). Pr. 3) 1957. August 7 vs. Giants (Roy Campanella four hits and three RBI). Vg. Total: 3 ticket stubs.
