Lot # 1514: 1962 New York Yankees World Champions Team Tri-Fold with Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris PSA FAIR 1.5

Offered is a rarely-seen New York Yankees tri-fold team photo dating from the 1962 season. Graded FAIR 1.5 by PSA, this is one of only two examples graded at this level by PSA with just one higher. The design features the club members in a traditional team pose at Yankee Stadium. Below the image, printed in black, are the names of the 36 team members pictured, including Mantle, Maris, Berra, Ford, Stengel (Mgr.), Crosetti (coach), E. Howard, and Skowron. The black-letter caption reads "New York Yankees - 1962 World Champions." The reverse of the piece has the facsimile signatures of all 36 team members pictured. The photo (11 x 8.5 inches), printed on thick paper stock, displays splitting at the fold lines and minor damage to the right edge.
