Complete, original unopened rack case of 1979 Topps football containing three boxes with 24 packs per box for a total of 72 packs. With each pack containing 42 cards, the case represents a total of 3,024 cards. This case comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). Please note the case, which was presented for authentication factory-sealed from Topps, has been opened and verified by BBCE (as is their new policy) and is noted as such on their authentication label. Each box inside comes individually shrink-wrapped by BBCE and is noted to have originated from a sealed case (FASC designation on label). The "factory sealed" distinction is particularly important and makes the offered case even more impressive. The 1979 Topps set features rookie cards of Hall of Famers Earl Campbell, James Lofton, and Ozzie Newsome as well as numerous other stars and Hall of Famers, including Terry Bradshaw, Walter Payton, and Roger Staubach. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is the real possibility that within this box are Gem Mint cards. The original outer case displays light-to-moderate wear. A tremendous opportunity to acquire this extraordinary and rarely seen rack case from the popular 1979 Topps football issue. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
