Description

Complete, original unopened vending box of 1970 Topps football containing approximately 500 cards from the first series (#1-132), which includes rookie cards of Hall of Famers O. J. Simpson, Alan Page, and , as well as other Hall of Fame cards of Len Dawson, Bart Starr, Gale Sayers, Fran Tarkenton, and Bob Griese. This box originates directly from the estate of the legendary Larry Fritsch. It comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material) and bears the certified designation as having originated from the "Fritsch Vault." The store display box has a blue ink notation on the top lid and a "Fritsch" inventory sticker affixed to a side panel. This is a very impressive unopened vending box with superb provenance. It would be a worthy addition to even the most advanced collection of 1970 Topps football or unopened material.
